Get Lost In Your Mind With The Head And The Heart

Seattle indie-folk band, The Head and The Heart released their debut, self-titled album in 2010 to glowing reviews. With swooning harmonies and stomping bass to rival the likes of Fleet Foxes and Mumford & Sons, The Head and The Heart are the newest darlings on the scene and this video for their track Lost In My Mind (directed by Christian Sorensen Hansen) cements this status (for us at least). Resplendent in soft light, warm colours and natural surrounds, it’s easy to see why the blogosphere is so in love with the newbies from Sub Pop.

Shot around the beautiful Wenatchee National Forest in Washington, in the nation’s far north-west, suddenly a singalong around a camp-fire in the snow looks like a lot of fun. From what we’ve heard, these guys really know how to do a live show and are even in the middle of touring Europe before returning home to the US to continue on the gig circuit.
