Get To Know Your Twin Shadow

New wave Brooklyn rockers Twin Shadow burst into the hearts and minds of the alternative electro-rock scene last year with their debut album ‘Forget’. Following its release in the closing half of 2010, the band has become the latest act to record an intimate 4-song set, live from Teddington Studios for legendary label 4AD.

The 4AD Sessions are an ongoing series of video recordings of acts from the label’s impressive roster, including Arial Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, Blonde Redhead and its 2008 debut from Studio Plateaux, with fellow indie darlings, Deerhunter.

Twin Shadow, fronted by wild-haired lead guitarist and vocalist, George Lewis Jr, put on an ambient and energetic pop-driven performance that allows for a rare insight into the live set-up of the band not usually witnessed beyond tight touring schedules. Coinciding with the announcement of new tour dates across the US and Europe, the video session includes tracks from their successful debut, the title track Forget, At My Heels, Slow and soon-to-be-single Castles in the Snow.
