There is an advantage of day in day out, rainy, miserable winter whilst the rest of the world is experiencing sunny sunny summer. You may ask what, what could possibly be good about sideways fat rain that, no matter how one holds the brollie, manages to still get you square in the eyes!… well, for those of us south of the Equator, we literally get summer all year, musically speaking that is.

Yes, we may not have the long days and even longer BBQ & boozey nights, endless street cricket games or the pretty floral summer dresses BUT we get to hear The States’, Europe’s and Asia’s summer hits, which in turn fills us with summer joy!!

Our ears are currently ringing with French duo Jamaica’s latest single, Short & Entertaining. With Justice’s Xavier de Rosnay and Daft Punk sound Engineer Peter Franco on your side, it’s kinda written in the stars that you’re music will be a) amazing, and b) fantastic, and of course, c)FANTASTICALLY AMAZING!!!

Featured a little while back on the 9th installment of the Kitsuné Maison Compilation series (which is pretty much a ‘watch this space’ compilation of guaranteed musical hotness, or what we’ll all be singing along with in two months time), this little ditty is a nice salute to the lazy, hazy crazy days of summer.
