Bang Bang Bang might have heralded a lot of attention earlier this year for its catchy hooks and beat that screams at you to dance to it, The Bike Song might just come close to the popularity of its older brother.
Mark Ronson (now making music as Mark Ronson & The Business Intl.) has kept with the faux Japanese game show vibe of Bang Bang Bang with this new video, where we see a – what’s the collective noun here? Murder? Clan? Squawk? – group of bikes ganging up on a thief whole stole one of their compadres. The clip is directed by Warren Fu, whose work you might recognise as the vid for The Strokes You Only Live Once
Record Collection is due out at the end of September and features collaborations with the likes of Wiley, Boy George and Duran Duran. Reow. In the meantime, this post was brought to you by a much sexier, pre-bleached hair, Mark Ronson.
