Nurses’ Fever Dreams

The latest video from Portland-based indie-rock wunderkinds Nurses, the aptly titled Fever Dreams, jams like a fluorescent-drenched beat party.

Edited and directed by the band themselves, and layered with footage that resembles a meteor shower, the clip feels like an exploration of the unknown. Embracing the bizarre and flaunting the possibilities of darkness, the boys from Nurses have created an effectively simplistic clip which perfectly complements the mysterious, searching, and vacillating positivity of the nature of the song itself.

The overwhelming majority of shots used in the clip are close-ups of frontman Aaron Chapman; weaving in and out of focus, the singer smears fluroescent paint on his face, eyes cutting between darting wildly around the room and intense contact with the camera, while he calmly reassures you, with those glowing orange lips, to “ease your head”.

Nurses’ third album ‘Dracula’ is slated for release on the 20th of September.
