The MTV VMAs have their nominees, and everyone is whispering about that Lady Gaga snub. Are we well and truly over Mother Monster? It’s a shame really; “You & I” was one of my favorite pop songs and videos of the past year. And with all the hype around the epic “Marry The Night”, the omission seems strange, especially because L.G. is so prolific due in part to her strong visual style. But then, what generates buzz generates buzz, and the buzz has well and truly been generated by Gaga’s glaring absence.
