Take Away Show #109 _ SHARON VAN ETTEN (part 1) from La Blogotheque on Vimeo.
Independent filmmaker Vincent Moon knows how to capture a moment and inject it with something meaningful. Viewing life through the lens like looking through the shimmering rainbow film of a bubble, Moon’s aesthetic is close-up, intimate, sensitive and ephemeral. In the #109th installment of La Blogotheque’s Take-Away Shows Moon sneaks off to New York to capture the essence of indie folk lady Sharon Van Etten. We follow her around on a typical day as she shares with us her introspective and gentle personality which is also all at once independent, quietly strong and spirited. We’re treated to a street-side performance of Van Etten’s sweetly sorrowful melodies, bathed in the glow of Moon’s afternoon sun.
