So Close You Can Smell It

Its almost time to finally get your hands on InnerSpeaker, Tame Impala’s long long long awaited debut album. And when I say long, I mean long. Lets back track to that Meredith, you know the one, the great flood of ’08 when dryness was a luxury and the cool kids went barefoot in inches of mud.

Early (10 am) Saturday morning, I hauled my somewhat sorry self down to the coffee Combi just in time to have my mind blown apart by the self proclaimed psychedelic hypno-groove melodic Perthites, Tame Impala. Nearly two years and one very successful EP (Tame Impala/ Antares Mira Sun) later, the boys are back and judging by their first single ‘Solitude is Bliss’ and album artwork, we’re all in for quite an adventure.

But till we get our hands on the little creature, how about we just sit back and enjoy the creative process.
