Perth psych-rock four-piece Tame Impala have been impressing listeners the world over since Modular released their Tame Impala EP in 2008, and the release of their first full-length record Innerspeaker last month has only helped matters.
The band took a break from their West Coast tour supporting MGMT to go adventuring in the back woods of Santa Cruz, recording a short live set amongst the trees in a location known only as Camp Nowhere (we can only assume this is the same Camp Nowhere that Mud, Zack,Trish and Gaby went to in the 1994 film).
The next few months sees the group cover the United States, before returning to Australia to play the sold-out Splendour in the Grass festival. More information on their busy tour schedule is available here.
Innerspeaker is out now on Modular.
