We All Love A Good Festival

With summer coming to a close on one side of the world and laying in wait on the other side, festivals are on everybody’s minds. Independent UK filmmaker Danny Cooke has produced a lovely little piece capturing the energy and life of the Relentless Boardmasters festival in Watergate Bay, Cornwall.

Cooke describes the overall idea of the film as “carr[ying] a deep message being that life has its ups and downs but its important that you enjoy the ‘now’ ” and this is conveyed beautifully through the shots of the crowd enjoying the dying rays of the music and the summer. The soundtrack features Chase & Status feat. Plan B who played at the festival.

Cooke’s work also extends itself to Bokeh, a short looking at fireworks in a different way to how we might be used to seeing them. Here’s one to keep an eye on.
