After discussing all things Australian with Portable’s Emma Meres at Pitchfork Music Festival last month, four-piece Wild Nothing set up a makeshift performance space on the sidewalk of a quiet, Chicago street to shoot this live version of their track Our Composition Book with Yours Tru.ly‘s video team.
Combine their track’s gentle melody with their perfect summer festival attire and frontman Jack Tatum and his merry men would surely have induced swooning in passers-by—if only there had been any.
With the rattle of a passing train, the tinkle of a tambourine and the flare of the evening sun passing over the camera’s lens, the Virginian band’s modest set came to an end and we’re left to twiddle our thumbs and await their follow-up to 2010′s lauded record ‘Gemini’ and ‘Golden Haze’ EP.
