A Little in Love with Leica

Totally giving the slashies a run for their money, Italian actor slash art director slash photographer slash well-dressed man Max Malatesta has been enviously hogging the good-gene-pool for a while now. In the first video for Leica’s My Life series, we meet the eloquent all-rounder and get a peek at some of his outstanding photography—brief, cinematic moments captured in a powerful black and white.

Even more inspiring than his exceptional handling of a Leica is the infectious way Malatesta describes photography. There’s fervor and zeal bathing in Malatesta‘s eyes when he says, “It’s always possible to see someone in a way that makes them beautiful… maybe you’re there to capture it… in a way it’s about predicting the unpredictable.”
