Nike and charity (RED) collaborated on this international initiative to fight HIV and Aids in Africa. By purchasing Nike’s (RED) laces, people were able to directly contribute to the project with 100% of the profits funding health education through soccer and medication. The Tied Together project is a part of this campaign and all through NYC, London, Milan, Berlin and Paris artists, designers, musicians, cyclists, skaters and general big-hearted folk were inspired to make a difference and participate in a 120 hour global relay race to help raise awareness of the Nike (RED) initiative. This video, directed by Kai Regan, documents the different approaches to Tied Together and interviews participants throughout the 5 participating cities.
