Advanced Control and Acoustics isĀ an Australian technology company that specializes in providing unique perspectives in the field of Audio Visual and Information Technology. They look to take advantage of web standards and improving upon them to make our technological lives easier and more fluid.

Their latest endeavor is called ACA Signage and it involves bridging the communications gap between the web and the physical world. In other words, they’ve made a connection between what we have access to in our phones, iPads, and laptops and what we see on the street, in storefronts and everywhere else. According to their website, “it is a complete solution to schedule, manage and deliver rich media to displays or web frames. ACA Signage is content your way, supporting all media files and even websites as content.” By working with HTML 5, ACA Signage speeds up our technological relevance all while making us realize just how quickly new developments are taking place.

ACA director Jonathan McFarlane enlisted the help of artist James Brown to help with the animation for this fun and colorful video. He also chose up and coming Australian band Bang! Bang! Rock ‘N’ Roll to score it; their high energy track is perfectly suited for the video’s similar pace, which also happens to parallel the incredible rate at which technology seems to be constantly improving.
